natural and artificial flavors

Question

Dear Rabbi AA, Can you assume anything called "natural flavors" or "artificial flavors" is kosher without knowing what they are? A flavor added to a commercial recipe is, by definition, a Davar d'avida l'ta'amah and is not batel afilu b'elef, so it can't be mutar on account of bittul. Thanks.
