New clothes during sefira

Question

I have heard various opinions on whether one can purchase clothes during sefira (in regards to saying shechiyanu). If we apply the logic that shaving is permissable for kavod shabbos (and laws of mourning are suspended), would shechiyanu be permitted on shabbos)? Thanks.
