oats, rye and spelt

Question

Oats, rye and spelt are used to make matzah. If they are kitneot, isn't it a problem using matzah made from any of them at the Seder? Do any items on your Pesach list contain oats rye or spelt? We appreciate all of your hard work! Thank you.

Absolutely. Making the wrong blessings & extra blessing are not permitted. Spelt might be one of the five grains, but I don't know if we have a real guarantee. Oats are not at all related, and the blessing is Ha"Adama. Rye is not common anyway, and still in question at this point. Go to http://rye.vtt.fi/chapter3.htm and you will see how different the grains are. All 5 grains must be from the Wheat or Barley families. AA
