Oneg Shabbos

Question

I have a hard time understanding your response regarding that swimming does not violate the "Spirit of Shabbos." Yes I understand it's a form of oneg. But by the same token, why can't I put my radio on a timer to go on when a certain classical music station is playing? Or would that be ok as well?
