opening eyes in mikveh

Question

Thank you for your reply about the contact lenses. Now I have a follow up question. The Talmud created these requirements so that the water can reach everywhere. If this is the case, should we be helping the water get to as many possible places as it can? Meaning - should we be opening our eyes? Double chins and folds in skin can't be helped. but one can open there eyes under water. Why does the mikveh lady say I dont have to, if in reality we are trying to reach every area?
