Question

Why can you use the electronic controls on an oven if you can't turn on lights on Yom Tov?

Lights can be turned on before Yom Tov, so the Rabbis decreed that you should not make fire on Yom Tov. Oven controls must be done when they are needed. Additionally, what exactly are you doing when hitting those controls? What Melachah is that?! AA
