Oven

Question

In the Hebrew laws it says that the oven doesn't need to be kashered for Pesah, but in the English laws it says to use the self-cleaning function. Which is it? (I was going to ask why you kasher an oven for Pesah but not between milk and meat, but my question was based on the English laws).

If an oven is clean, it does not need to be koshered, but to be safe put it on the self clean function. On Pesach, Chametz is not batul so selfclean will burn any crumbs (even though they are already burned). CYA
