OVEN USE ON YOM TOV

Question

Dear Rabbi, I apologize for asking questions you may have already answered, but for the sake of clarity and avoiding violations of yom tov, please address this question: On yom tov, may one turn on/turn off the burners of a gas stovetop, as long as the pilot remains lit? Pls volunteer any relevant, specific laws you feel would help to observe yom tov laws. Thank you.

You can lower a gas oven & even turn it off completely. You can raise the flame if needed for cooking. AA
