PETA video of rubashkin slaughter

There was an article in yesterday's NY Times about the secret video made by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals at a Aaron's/Rubashkin's plant in Iowa certified by the OU which claims that the slaughter is not being done according to kosher laws and is also causing unecessary pain and suffering to the animals when there are better ways to slaughter the animal even according to kosher laws.. So what comment can you give on this video as far as what a proper shechita of a cow should look like.

It isn't the slaughtering process that is a problem. Talk to Rabbi Ralbag who runs the slaughtering for Hebrew National. You won't find these type issues there. I don't trust PETA, nor do I trust the slaughterhouse. Everyone has his/her agenda. AA
