Pina Colada

Question

Rabbi: I noticed a recent post about the permissibility of drinking pina coladas at bars. A while ago I asked a question about the prohibition in the Shulhan Aruch (YD 114 or 115) of drinking alcoholic beverages at non Jewish establishments, unless the drink is an uncommon one like "apple wine" or "pomeganate wine". You said you were waiting for a pesak from your father but I never heard back on this one. Is your fathers heter of pina coladas at bars based on an opinion that pina coladas is in the category of uncommon drink? If so, can you let me know what other drinks nowadays fall into that category? Hard cider? Hard lemonade? Peach schnaps? Or does your father have a different understanding of the prohibition of drinking at non-jewish bars altogether? Or maybe it was assumed that the bar that 'i love to drink' was going to was a jewish bar. Can we get a little clarification? Thanks, jouziel
