R. Abadi's teshuvah

Question

What is most impressive is that your father notes that these people who were so quick to poskin have cost people their livelihoods, lprobably bankrupted people. And what about the yeshivot that were built with sheitl money -- are we going to tear them down too or tear down people's houses who made money from the business? R. Elyashiv gives such a groundbreaking ruling based on the report of one London rabbi who probably was misinformed when he went to India. Aren't poskim supposed to bend over backwards to avoid hefsed merubah. it doesn't look like these rabbis gave much thought to this.
