Question

Actually, I personally find Rabbi Aharon Abadi's style refreshing and therapeutic. Often I think he is being too nice and should REALLY sock it to some of the questioners! Shame on the parents who have raised their children to be so chutzpadik to a Rav!! My brother is a Lakewood fallout case (almost 40 year old "child at risk") and I forward many of Rabbi Aaron Abadis posts to my brother who is very impressed. My brother especially liked the link to the website about guns as he is also a collector. In fact my brother is so impressed with Rabbi Aaron Abadi's honesty and directness, that it is having a very great positive effect that can only be a benefit to future generations (the first of whom he is currently raising and educating in the Jewish day schools). I would not be shocked to someday find out that for every critic of Rabbi Aaron Abadi's "style" there are a hundred people who are coming back to observance BECAUSE of it.

Glad to be of assistance. A 40 year old child at risk from Lakewood? Who can that be? Aaron Kotler? Nah! He's the only one that I can remember that grew up in Lakewood and is 40, still alive, and not in a mental institution. By the way, Aaron K., Happy 40th B-day! AA
