Raising the Flag on Shabbat

Question

Rabbi With war with Iraq pending we should all be doing our outmost to express our patiortism. I recently had a flagpole erected in my front yard and every morning I raise Old Glory, and every evening I take her down (as prescribed by law). My question is: can I raise and lower the flag on Shabbat?
