Rav Abadi

Question

Many of Rav Abadi's interesting pesakim are not found in his sefer, thus it is impossible for us to know his reasoning. If the rav has written teshuvot on these topics, could you perhaps post them on the website? I think we would all be interested to see his teshuvot on swimming on Shabbat, corn as kitniyot, gevinat akum, and many other significant pesakim. In fact, why not post his teshuvot as he writes them, and eventually they could be printed in vol. 2 of his teshuvot.

Answer

Answered by Aaron Abadi

There will be more Seforim (books), God willing. Swimming is in Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim. Corn is a new food, not around by that Minhag. Gevinat Akum is there in Shulchan Aruch. There isn't really a need to explain Pesakim that coincide with the Gemara, Poskim, & Shulchan Aruch, just because others don't follow it. The burden is on them to prove why the Shulchan Aruch is wrong. AA
