Question

One of Rav Scheinberg's biggest talmidim, who is a rosh hayeshiva, told me that Rav Scheinberg said when you see his signature it means nothing, and you should think nothing of it. He is controlled by family members and others who must make sure at all costs that Rav Scheinberg, in his mid 90's, does not sign or say anything that can risk his health. Therefore, the siganture you see means noting , however the eidus of the Abadi family that he holds it's kosher means a lot.

Interestingly enough, I saw this with my own eyes. A man came for a Haskama (an approval) on a Sefer that he was writing. He came to Rabbi Scheinberg senior in my neighborhood, when I was there (discussing the silk-screen). Rabbi Scheinberg gave him a Brachah or something and sent him on his way. The son then took his father's letterhead, and either signed it, or had it signed and then gave it to a local Rav, who is a grandson of Rabbi S., and asked him to read through the Sefer, and if he approves of it, to give a Haskama. So what you say is very accurate. AA
