Question

So if I forgot to put any trippers in at all before shabbos, and I want it to turn on and off (and back on again), can I put in all those trippers on Shabbos? Does it matter if it is a gram for kibui or havara? Also, if I set a mechanical (not digital) Shabbos clock correctly, but on shabbos I realize that the time is wrong by an hour. Can I reset the time? (I don't mean to get involved with any question of makeh b'patish because of setting a clock). Thanks very much for your site, I enjoy it very much.
