Question

In all fairness, Rabbi Abadi asked me where we see that it is nolad. I provided a source from the Rama, which is perfectly legitimate. I'm not referring to some obscure acharon who happened to put something in a sefer. While I agree that one should go through the sugya on his own and come to a conclusion with his own mind, if the Rama brings down an open psak, it should at least be investigated. I have no interest whether the psak is assur or mutar--I want to simply know the truth. I agree wholeheartedly that using soap clearly is not memachek--it simply doesn't fit the tzurat ha'melacha. But the Rama says that Ashkenazim should be machmir for an issur nolad. I want Rabbi Abadi's answer precisely BECAUSE his psak is reliable in my eyes. He asked me for a source, so I provided it. --Aron
