Dear Rabbi Dear Rabbi, Rav Moshe was not the first to permit chalev goyim. The pre-expulsion 12th and 13th century English Tosafists permitted it along with bread and beer. ( See Tosafos Avodah Zara 31B) Bon appetit, Martin

Yes, but L'halacha we do not hold that way. Rav Moshe did not permit Chalav Goyim, he says it is considered Chalav Yisrael. Your statement is possibly, a bit misleading. CYA Sorry. Didn`t mean to mislead. I just thought it a fascinating historical observation. We English were always a little odd!!!! Martin
