Re: Einstein

Question

In response to the posting on Science and Judaism, by Einstein: I agree with you completely (and was also fascinated to learn about the 15 billion year / 6 day convergence, for more on the topic check out "Science of God" by Gerald Schroeder) The only problem I have with your posting is the line "It is not a mystery that most of the world's most famous scientists also believe in G-d." In fact, many of the leading scientists over the past century have been stong aetheists - most notably: hawkings, weinberg, hubble, and i believe even einstein. nonetheless, it is humorous to read when hawkings writes, "i can account completely for everything that happened from the minute of creation on... before that (remember, hes an aetheist!!) only God knows"

Cute! You're right. I once watched a whole debate on PBS or something, between two groups of scientists, who both believed in evolution, but one group also believed in a God at the beginning, who left it and went. AA
