Question

You stated below that 'there stuff is fine' after reading the excerp from its website that all there ingredients are kosher. Does this mean you can eat any doughnut at any krispy kreme store? This leads to my next question. If in fact, according to strict halachic terms, all that needs to be kosher in foods such as krispy kreme doughnuts, wrigleys gum, and Warner-Lambert products are the ingridients, why do hechsherim frown upon eating products that do not bear a kosher symbol? All one needs to do is to ensure that the products are kosher is check the ingridients correct? It would seem that one of the driving forces behind not endorcing all candy bars that only have kosher ingridients to be kosher is MONEY. It would seem that if all these candy bars would be permitted by poskim, nobody would buy the more expensive products from jewish owned companies. Please give me your thoughts. thanx
