re Pareve pot.

Question

Dear Rabbi, I asked Potatoes were boiled in a pareve pot. The spuds were drained and put back in the pot but not on the stove. Milk was then added to mash them.( Pot and potatoes are still very hot) Pot still pareve? And the mashing utensil? Cheers Martin

After 24 hours it becomes pareve again. CYA Could you please expand your answer for me? Is the pot a kli rishon because it is still hot, even though it`s removed from the fire? Or are the potatoes a kli rishon because they are hot even thogh they have removed and replaced into the original pot? And what about the masher? Please forgive my ignorance, Martin
