re: pregnant cravings
Question
Hi Rabbi, Thank you for your quick response, but what would be considered "a risk of life or death.... " Besides if she might starve to death or a gun is to her head. Below is my question and your answer for refrence I heard today that if a woman is pregnant and she has strong cravings she may eat anything she wants without any regard to the laws of kashrut. I know that this cannot be true, but this guy was speaking to me with strong conviction. Please let me know if there is any truth to this, or maybe he is misinterpreting something he heard/read. He seemed pretty convinced. Thank you for your time
