Question
Answer
Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiI didn't see Aaron's post but I would imagine he was talking about the Hebrew National subject. I don't think anyone can or would give anyone a 100%. No two people think alike. You gave two good examples of differences. CYA Kvod harav, in regards to: #1 romano cheese,I contacted Rabbi Ralbag and he explained that of course they are very carefull about gevinas akum. They bring in a mashgiach temidi during the whole cheesing process from a - z. The mashgiach stays on site for the whole duration (I think he said a couple of months!). Incidentally, he is ready to send someone now once again to watch. Jeff, You can be sure that when you see cheese products with a triangle k its better than o-u and no need to worry. #2: birds eye products- the triangle k on the package says that spinach, asparagus and brocolly are kosher products. He isn't saying that they are bug free. (incidentally, birds eye from a health and cleanliness standpoint, are the cleanest you are going to find.) I hope this clarified a few points, as always ,thanks martin
