Everyone who lived in Lakewood for awhile knows that R Abadi was only kicked out cuz he was getting to much power... only so few are willing to admit that. The same as they all know that wrigleys gum was kosher until all of a sudden the kosher companies started making "kosher" gum... please who are they fooling?! its scary what potential Lakewood had with Rabbi Abadi that was all thrown away by their very own "vaad" leaders. v hameivin yavin....

Answered by Aaron AbadiYou're right, except that he wasn't kicked out, he was just made so miserable that he left. He almost moved to Israel in 1977, but the men in the Lakewood Yeshiva sent a petition to Rav Shach, who convinved him to stay. AA
