Ivdu es Hashem B'Simcha - Always remember that The Torah wants us to have a Rov that answers ALL our questions and we should follow that Rov for good and bad. You can't try to take every chumra that exists. Never in Jewish history was there any of the Tanaim, Amoraim, Gaonim, Rishonim, Achronim even nowaday Rabbanim, that only held l'chumra. Every Rov has his chumrahs and kullos. That is the meaning of "Elu Vaelu Divrei Elokim Chaim" Each Rov's P'sak is correct for him and his constituents, because he is making that Halachic decision with only Hashem and doing the Mitzvos of Hashem correctly in mind. As an example, I'm sure if you asked Rav Ovadia Yosef about the scalp part - he would say it is assur. But he holds a wig is assur. This question is only relevant to those who follow that Shitah. So just as we should not shop around for heterim, we should surely not shop around for issurim. If not for your sake, at least for your family's sake. Being a true oved Hashem in this day and age is hard enough for anyone, why not stick to the ways of the past generations and follow your Rov. You can never go wrong that way. When you go up to Hashem and you are asked why did you do ---- you can just say "I have no idea, ask that Rov". In this manner it is easy to be happy. Then you can reach the level of "Ivdu es Hashem B'Simcha" Remember this is only a hallway to HEAVEN - STOP LOOKING AT THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE HALLWAY. CYA
