Does the same apply for a woman shaking aman's hand? For ex I was recently on a flight where the flight attendant went around to everyone and shook their hand. Was I supposed to tell him that I can't? Wouldn't that be embarassing for him and thus a chilul hashem?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael Abadino not at all - i'm sure that if a Muslim lady was there she would have said no. There is no reason to be embarassed of being a Jew. I'm not saying its easy. You can simply say I'm an Orthodox Jew and I do not shake hands. You usually will not have problems from Goyim. You will almost always have problems from Non-religious Jews. That is their Yetzer Hatov begging to come out. If anything I think it would be Kiddush Hashem to show that we are proud to be Jewish with some meaning in life. CYA
