In response to a question concerning shaking the opposite sex's hands while working CYA wrote: On a Bitachon note, do you think Hashem needs you to shake her hand to make a parnassa, that He promised you? CYA With all due respect, I do not understand this statement. God doesnt "need" you to do anything to make a parnassa, yet we maintain "ein somchein al ha'nes" and we work for parnassa anyway. The logical conclusion of your response is that we shouldnt work at all. But since we really do need to work, and within our jobs we might be required to shake a woman's hand, shouldnt that be mutar, as Rav Moshe suggests.
