I assume you mean "slit goes to the bottom of the knee from the ankle up". You must be assuming that one is not required to cover below the knee. My father said, there is no difference below or above the knee. They should be covered and a slit is not allowed. CYA However in a previous post, AA had written that it is ok if you wear nude stockings. Has there been a change?
