Reading newspaper on Shabbat?!?

Answered by Aaron Abadino problem >CYA NOW I'm confused. AA has in no uncertain terms stated that R. Abadi holds that it's assur to read any non-Torah material on Shabbat. (He even cited the Shulchan Aruch, who forbids reading the titles on framed pictures, if I recall correctly). Maybe your answer was only regarding the issue of nolad? Thank you
