Recaldent - Trident

Question

Many popular chewing gums including Trident have begun to use recadlent - a derivative of cow's milk. I believe this would render it dairy. The product is close enough to milk for the company to warn milk allergy sufferers from having it. Are Trident and other products with Recaldent dairy from a Halachic viewpoint? If not, please explain. If you need more info on Recaldent, visit http://www.recaldent.com.
