refined coconut oil

Question

I that extra virgin unrefined coconut oil is okay without a hechsher; is refined coconut oil allowed as well? I am referring to the Tropical Traditions brand. (It is called pure coconut oil) This is different than most refined coconut oils in that there is no chemical processing. The website reads: "The coconut oil is produced by the expeller-pressed method using a mechanical extraction process. No solvent extracts such as hexane are used in the refining process." It is steam deodorized. Are there any questions I should ask the company about the way it is processed?
