re: CHAIM NATAF today that we live in big cities were the population is above 600,000 it is a reshut harabem acording to all rishonim acording to the Bet Yosef you don't need 600,000 as he says "me shecsich lo bederech" every thing is assur because out of the city its wide 16 amot but in the city limits in those days there wasn't wide streets of 16 amot

His point was that since somewhere it says there is no reshut harabim, I guess we now should treat every street not as a reshut harabim and we can depend on some of the eruvin out there that are made with this way of thinking in mind. CYA
