ricotta cheese

Question

i know you said yes for the ricotta cheese if supervised correctly but what does that mean the brand is sorrento and it isonly marked ou dairy

OU admits that they do not supervise soft cheeses. They base this on a Halachic ruling of a Rabbi 60 years ago, that no one has in writing, nor did anyone alive today actually hear it from him.... Don't eat it. AA
