Ring/washing

Question

Kavod HaRav, do I have to remove my ring before washing: for hamotzei? when I exit the bathroom? when I touch my shoes? If so (for any), why? And also, if so, if I forget to remove my ring before washing, do I need to wash again? Thank you!

Yes Yes yes yes Since you take it off at times, it is a Chatzitza. It's a Chumra, but that's the Halachah. AA
