RJJ Journal Mixed Seating Article

Question

Journal of Halacha in Contemporary Society, Number XXXV. This article discusses mixed/separate seating at the wedding dinner only, not the huppah. Some poseqim are lenient in that they do not require a mehitzah, but nearly all require seating at separate tables. The conclusion carefully states that "nearly every variety of current practice enjoys some support within halacha. Dinners with a mechitzah and without both represent valid halachic options." Mixed TABLES, however, do not enjoy that support. (I do not have my own personal copy; I just borrowed one.)
