Roach Killer 2

Question

I heard a different explanation for why these roach killer things might be impermissable on Pesach. The argument was that we are not allowed to derive any hana'ah (benefit) from chametz at all on pesach. If the traps are killing roaches for us on pesach then this would be hana'ah. 1) Is there any actual issur of gaining hana'ah from chametz on pesach? 2) Is this the type of hana'ah that would be problematic? 3) If not, what types of benefit are contemplated by that rule?

1) not if inedible. 2) no 3) benefit from actual Chametz. These are part of the ABC's of Pesach. The ones who say those rumours are usually Yeshiva guys with a lot of time on their hands. Please ignore them. I would like to address questions that are valid, rather than respond to ignorant rumours. AA
