Question

Is one allowed to go ice or rollerskating when it is not rented out? if no then why not? does it have to do with mingeling with the gayim and that it is like dancing? what if it's mostly empty? what if the majarity is the jewish girls or boys? is this what everyone holds or some hold it is okay?
