someone told me that your father forbids listening to music the whole year except by weddings, simcha torah.... is this true or is it just a rumor? thank you! ao

It is in Shulchan Aruch. It's not my father's Halachah. We spoke about it many times. Do some searching on this forum and you'll get the story. AA
