Question

i don't quite understand why these apikorsim think that just because science "assumes" different the great rabbis of the gemara were wrong.we find so many instances of animals,bugs and birds etc. in gemara which today we have no clue what they are.does this mean that the Rabbis were wrong and it didn't exist.God forbid. if the rabbis say that these are the facts,than these are the facts PERIOD. THERE IS NO ROOM TO QUESTION. the last page of the gemara in Chagiga talks about a "salamander" that is created from a continuous fire for many years. upon smearing its blood on oneslelf they become fireproof. Lehavdil, science says obviously such a thing is impossible.does this mean the rabbis were wrong?! God forbid. thank you so much for putting these apikorsim in their places(and we know where that is).there are thousands of lies out there,but there is only one truth.this truth is the torah,and our rabbis that interpret it.thank you for your time.
