Se'udat Mitzvah

Question

I went to a brit milah the morning of erev Yom Kippur and the Rabbi said that anyone who goes to a se'udat mitzvah on erev Yom Kippur is automatically forgiven for all his sins. Any truth to this? p.s. I plan on praying A LOT anyway!
