Q. I have often read that reciting the perek shirah is only second in 'importance' to reciting Ketoret. With such an emphasis, why don't we know more about perek shirah, and why is it not part of our daily tefillah? Tizku leshanim rabot.

Answered by Aaron AbadiWhat is Perek Shirah? AA Perek Shira was attributed to David Hamelech composed of verses (biblical) that articulate the song of creation (the song of the universe) to g-d. It begins with the promise that those who recite it are assured of a place in Olam Haba.
