Question

When someone sends you a post that he testifies on a certain event like the one about the carlbach guys in panties and comiting giliya arais (which isn't so good) or anything about a certain yeshiva that might clasify them or alot of people as "kofrim" are we alowed halachikly to believe it? also do you check into it before you post it please answer i am asking to know the emes.

If the person is known to us as a Rash"a or as someone who does these things, then we follow the Chafetz Chaim who says in Hilchot Lashon Harah that we can assume it's true. If we have no info on this person, we would nev er post it, unless thoroughly verified. AA
