Setam kelim

Question

Does setam kelim einam benei yomam mean that we assume that the utensils have not been used in the last 24 hours or that they have not been used with something assur? For example, concerning a factory, whiich is running every day, we clearly can't say that the utensils per se are einam benei yomam, since they obviously have been used, but we don't know if they ever had treif on them, and even if they did, we can assume it was more than 24 hours ago. So in that sense, with regard to the treif, they are einam benei yomam. Is this what you are saying?
