Question

If I forgot to put out my garbage before Shabbos for a city Shabbos pickup, can i put it on shabbos? Can I put it out even if its in the backyard and not causing any distress? And can I put it on Yomtov?

Yes, as long as on Shabbat you are not taking it out of an enclosed area, or there is a valid Eiruv. AA
