Shabbos makeup

Question

I don't work for the Shabbos makeup company or anything, but I use one of the Shabbos makeup lines because it is the only thing that doesn't give me welts. The product they sell is a powder, pure mineral dust that does not colour the skin but merely sits on the skin for a very short time until it washes off with perspiration before your next meal. The line I have IS nothing but sparkly clay dust powder stuff and it is brushed on top of the skin and then you spray it with water to try to stick it on and by the time you get out of the house, it is gone. (At least we feel dressed up). It is like putting finely ground red mud on your cheeks and then spraying it with water so it sticks. From a purely cosmetic standpoint, I don't think that one could say it colours the skin itself, because it doesn't penetrate at all. It just kind of sits on top of it until it runs off (in a very short time). But it leaves no colour residue (unlike regular makeup which DOES contain actual dyes and will colour the skin even after you take it off, even for a day or two) after a very short time (an hour or two before you need to reapply). It IS great for very sensitive skin, for people who are allergic to everything else. Anyway, the whole claim behind it, is that it really doesn't colour the skin, it just sits on top.
