shatnes testing

Question

I would like to be able to test my clothing for shatnes. Is it possible to get the necessary equipment to do so? And if it is, where would I go or whom would I contact to get it?

There is a strong Mafia in this field. We all like to brush it under the rug. The Gemara (Talmud) in "Yuma" says in similar situations, "Veshem Reshaaim Yirkav." I don't know what you can do. AA
