Shaving

Question

I just want to point out that Joe is an educated customer and that Joe was cognizant of the Gemara in Moed Katan. Now that we're dealing with the the topic of shaving, two questions: 1) Can one shave during sefira lechatchilah? 2) Can one shave with a lift-and-cut shaver? Thanks!
