Shemot

Question

When putting away a chumash or siddur for burial, if the cover has come off, does this need to be put into shemot as well? Does a summary of the parsha need to be put in shemot, if it is in translation and uses G-d only? Thanks.

1) Yes 2) If it is real words of Torah written by an observant Jew, it needs burial. If it is some made-up pulpit speech written by a ......, it goes in the trash with the leftover potato kugel. AA
