shidduchim

Question

on 2/9 you answered someone that the proper time to pray for shidduchim is "at 12 years old for girls and thirteen for boys." isn't the kiddush thats made when a girl is born for shidduchim? a side point on how crooked and shallow ppl can get: when my neighbor's daughter was born she had to get minor surgery on her foot which left a small scar- an inch maybe- on the bottom of her foot. the doctors told her that if she planned on getting it removed (plastic surgery) it might as well be done while her daughter's still a bayby. my neighbor asked around for advice and she was told by quite a few ppl that if she was worried about shidduchim for her daughter then she better get it removed. (btw-this happened in lakewood-explains a lot!) hello?? its a tiny scar on BOTTOM of her foot!!!
