shower on shabbat

Question

How about showering on Shabbat? Would hot water be a problem in a large hotel or dorm?? Is that the only problem with shower on shabbat as opposed to yom tov?? Another question: If a kind of cheese (regular cheese, string cheese, american, anykind) is kosher, is it automatically kosher for pesah as well??
